![]() ![]() Standard ballistic weapons are strong against most opponents, but non-AP rounds struggle against robots, metal-armored enemies, and heavily armored creatures, as lower caliber rounds would bounce right off. ![]() Laser weapons do increased damage against biological opponents (cause, you know, lasers are hot) like ghouls, humans, animals, etc, but do considerably less damage against opponents wearing metallic armor, power armor, or robots, simulating the light bouncing off of the reflective metal surface. Would be really cool if you could implement a system where energy weapons behaved more like they would IRL. You're using a directed energy weapon capable of vaporizing or liquefying a deathclaw, but yet it's outdone by a boring ballistic based assault rifle in base damage. ![]() I've always felt that energy weapons were a little. I don't have a PC powerful enough to run Fallout 4 (yet), but I did have a couple of suggestions from my Xbox playthrough: I'm excited to see where you take this mod, I think it has potential to become incredibly popular in the modding community as more features are added. Played through FO4 on the Xbox and enjoyed it, but definitely got fed up with the bullet-spongenieness towards the end. ![]()
